What was the funniest thing you have ever done for Halloween?

Kids Halloween party food ideas? ?

  • 1st grade class Halloween party ideas? So I volunteered to help out with my daughters 1st grade class Halloween party and the teacher put me in charge of the whole thing since she has no room mom. I have never done anything like this and could use some ideas.. I was thinking halloween cupcakes, candy corn sugar cookies, caramel apples, pumpkin rice krispies, witches brew punch, and individual treat bags. This is basically a sugar only party so no like mummy pig in the blankets or anything. Anything else that I should do? Anybody have a halloween class favorite? Suggestions greatly and much needed!! Thanks!

    I know you said sugar only but I think it would be good to throw in a little something healthy. I made a veggie tray that looks like a skeleton for my daughter's class party and the kids loved it.

Use Halloween cookie cutters for cookies. Lollipops wrapped in white paper mache to look like ghosts. A haunted gingerbread house. Attach legs to Oreo cookies or other round chocolates to make them look like spiders. Carve a pumpkin with a mouth, nose, etc and put gummy worms to look like they're crawling in the holes. Cotton candy with plastic spiders to look like spider webs. Carve apple slices and 'glue' two wedges together with caramel and put nuts/candy corn/marshmallows in between so it looks like a mouth with teeth. You can bake a chocolate cake and put edible tombstones on it so it looks like a cemetery.

I think you should definitely go with the individual goody bag and you should have like some spider shaped cupcakes or web icing or something like that and pumpkin erasers and candy and treats to give out in the goody. Hope this helps.
