When you go to a Thanksgiving Dinner, what are some things you are allergic to and what is your favorite alternatives? Thank you for your help! :)

Try Foods without things that people could be allergic to. And stay definitely away from nuts and peanut butter ( I know they aren't usually in Thanksgiving Dinners but still) Also try new things that you've never tried but friends or family say taste good. Try Cranberry Sauce, Ham, Corn, Rice, Yam, and more. Also google "Common Thanksgiving foods and recipes" Hope I helped.

You should try my Sweet Potato recipe. It's super easy and absolutely to die for! You'll be a huge success even if there are 6 other dishes of sweet potatoes. your's will be the best! http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/9112327/easy_holiday_sweet_potatoes.html?cat=22

You can steam carrots, add a little honey, rosemary and ginger. They're awesome, easy and different.

Boneless turkey breasts (skin on) (stuffed or not) would probably be easier to cook and serve. For sides, mashed sweet potatoes or candied yams, pureed rutabaga (yellow turnips) or roasted butternut squash, sauteed brussel sprouts and chestnuts or hazelnuts. Sausage, Apple and Cornbread dressing. Jellied Cranberry mold. Nuts would be the allergy food to watch out for, so have a few cans of jellied plain or whole cranberry sauce in reserve. If your expecting vegetarians, ask one of them to make a main dish and be sure to have a large salad. Although most sides will work for vegetarians, unless they don't eat dairy. A simple pasta dish, like penne with a simple marinara (meatless) sauce is filling and works for most people, unless they are allergic tomatoes. You really can't worry about everyone, but it is nice of you to try.

I have an allergy for nuts so try to avoid stuffing the turkey with it. Cranberry sauce, green beans, dinner rolls, stuffing, pie, corn (whole or sliced), gravy, salad. This list is making me hungry

I would personally suggest green beans, gravy, stuffing, squash, ham, cranberry sauce, rolls or bread, and maybe some pumpkin pie.
