How to get out of going to my family Christmas party?

Teen Christmas party ideas? (: Help please?

  • For the first time, I'm throwing a Christmas party. There's only going to be about 7 people, all around the age of 15. It'll be at my house. A few people don't know each other too well, so that's something to consider. Here are some things I've already planned... -Tackiest Christmas sweater contest (we vote, and the winner will get a goodie bag filled with body spray, candy, etc) -Secret Santa -Watch the movie Elf -Set up two or three gingerbread houses and decorate them -Have lots of good food (hot cocoa, cookies, etc) But...what else? I've never thrown a party, so I don't know how to entertain my guests.

  • Answer:

Music would be good. Maybe have everybody bring a cheap gift for anyone and do some sort of polyanna where people pick up a random gift or something? I know some people trade gifts after they open them and make a game out of it. i never did it but it sounds cool! Board games ( I am a nerd and love scrabble ) but you could do 2 at once with 2 groups or something like charades that everyone could do at once! Pin the tail on Justin Beiber. A funny pinata filled with prizes and candy. Maybe sing Christmas carols?- old and corny I know - but just a thought!

Tackiest xmas is lame and the elf movie for teens is lame. Gingerbread is lame for teens. I would say just hang out and have fun with food and dance.
