Big Sweet 16 party ideas.

Sweet 16 Party, ideas, planning, help!? :)?

• my 16th birthday is in 3 months, i'm thinking i want to have a sweet 16, last year i didnt even have a party so i want to for sure have a party this year :) i have a couple of choices of what i want to do... 1. i can have a small party with my closest friends (about 12 girls) and we can possibly get a limo, go out to eat and maybe spend the night in a hotel or chill at my house or something 2. i can have a big party with all my friends (about 45 to 50 people) i can have it at either a banquet hall (formal), or my moms house (fairly casual), or my dads house (could go either way)... i could either have me and my close friends (12 girls) go out to eat fairly fancy and then we could change clothes and go to my big party and i could have snacks at the party or i can have a meal at the party and not eat with my close friends before (but that could get expensive) i am thinking i just want to have the small party with close friends OR i want to go out to eat fancy with my best friends (12 girls) then have a big party with everyone :) but idk if i should go formal (banquet hall), semi (dads house), or casual (moms house)... i dont really think i want to go formal because it just doesnt seem like me, WHAT SHOULD I DO!?!! and should i have a theme, like a candyland super sweet theme!? ideas? suggestions? tips!? helppp?!!

  I think you should do it at your dads or moms house since you said you're not much of a formal person (me neither honestly). But it IS your sweet 16, so at least do something nice you know? My friend had a legendary party for her birthday; http://s1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc447/meghanveronah/ It was pretty expensive, of course so if you're o n a budget, you can always compromise! My other friend did it at her house, which wasn't that big but she had her backyard so that was the dance floor. You have so many options, its all up to you (: good luck & have fun!
