Volunteer work for a 14 yr old?

cant seem to find anything on the internet. I live in new orleans, i don't know where to start for trying to get a volunteer job. i think the animal shelter says your guardian has to volunteer with you if your 12-14 yrs old? what should i do?

well im also 14... i really don't have a job yet but this summer im gonna...but my advise for you would be to help out like elder neighbors if they need help...if there is an animal shelter that is a perfect volunteer place...if you have community gardens you could water them...or even be a dog walker...or even get a job.! Hope you find something!
