I need ideas!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!?

I'm trying to convince my parents to take me & some of my friends to Kalahari for my sweet sixteen. In total (gas & food included) it'll cost $400-$500. I understand that that's a lot of money, but I really want to go. After all, it is my sweet sixteen! I've started to come up with a list of reasons to give my dad (the one who's preventing the party) as to why I should be able to go: 1. I'll only turn 16 once. 2. I haven't had a birthday party in 3 years. The combined cost of all of those parties would be over the cost of this one. 3. I was student of the month for February (a prestigious award at my high school). 4. I've gotten straight As on my report card all through high school. 5. I got all As on all my exams (I was one of only 2 people in my whole grade to do that). 6. It's too late to plan a sweet sixteen party (my birthday is March 19 & the venue is already reserved) 7. A sweet sixteen party will cost a considerable amount, also. 8. My mom has $900 on a visa card that she can use to pay for the party. 9. I'm a nice person. 10. You love me. That's all I've got so far. Basically, I need more ideas. They can be completely cheesy, serious, or somewhere in the middle. Anything goes, really. If you have any alternatives to knock off some of the price, that would be helpful, too. I've had my heart set on this party and I really want to make it happen! Thanks soo much! :)

Answer:
Well, as a parent I understand cost and just because she has a spare 900$ on a credit card doesn't mean it can be used for a party. BUT, what an awesome place to spend a day with your friends. How about helping pay some of the cost back, even if it is doing extra stuff around the home? Sounds like you are a fantastic student and a girl with her head on right and ya, that should be rewarded. So, if you said the place is holding your reservation..then I assume they reserved it? If I was Ma or pa, I would do it for a girl like you who is responsible and hard working. They should also be thankful that you aren't planning a girls night out that ends with booze and guys. If you can handle taking on a job, even a very part time one...probably 2 days of work a month would pay for the credit card payment and teach you responsibility...which you are already very good at. If you have a teacher that you are close with ask them to write you a letter of recommendation for the party of your dreams. your parents might find it amusing that you did that. Perhaps you have other family...aunts, uncles and grandparents that might help foot the bill for the party. If the will get you something anyway, why not what you really want? Good luck, and I hope your sweet 16 is all you hope it to be no matter where the party is!

Also explain that this is a one time deal and that you would help pay for it if necessary.
