How to throw an awesome middle school party and convince your parents to let you?

  • My friend and I planned to throw either a late new years party to celebrate the coming year or a Valentines day party. We're in 7th grade and we want to throw an awesome party that'll be talked about for a long time!!! Anyways: So we wanted to throw a killer party. Here are a few ideas we've had already: 1. The Makeout room 2. Spin the bottle. 3. Truth or dare 4. Video games tournament 5. Twister 6. Snack table (pizza, desserts, SODA) 7. Awesome music 8. HAVE FUN So what do you think? Badass? We've already planned whos invited and we are still deciding what to wear. BTW WE'RE GIRLS THANKS! Also we're being serious. Don't say we're too young 'cause we're really mature for our age and our parents think we're responsible. I thank you greatly if you help us. And its a boy/girl party

    Yeaaah! I'm planning my party(eighth graaade) and I read youur other question like this[which is pretty nasty]. I wouldn't make a makeout room, becaause that could lead to some pretty nasty shiiiiiit, and if you do make a makeout room-make sure its not your bedroom..... For music don't play any pop craap. Play music with reaally good baass....... And yeeep, it seems like a pretty BA party now.

that party is badass, invite me too! im in 7th grade too. idk how your parents would feel about the makeout room and spin the bottle. Making out will lead to you know what, so be careful!! But to have the party you should sit them down and talk to them, explain who will beat the party, how long, what you will do, and when. Your parents will be impressed how mature you are and you will have a better chance to have the party. Make it a new years party and have a late pool party and everybody will leave in 2012, you can say your party was a year long! Have fun, and best of luck!!

I would say new years if you were older, but most people want to be with their families for New Years and wont let their kids go anywhere(at least where im from) Let your parents know what kind of things you want to do(and make sure they know you will clean up afterwards!) Truth or dare is ALWAYS a great game, especially if you can think up good dares. Spin the bottle is fun, but the make-out room kind of gets old because nothing usually happens. Also, make sure you hide your parents' caluables and they know where you put them, because we dont want anything broken:P Good luck!
