What did you do for your 13th birthday?

I really want a 13th birthday party but my mums not letting me, what should i do?

  • all my mates have had a big 13th birthday party + i want a big one too, ive been trying cheap ideas on my mum but i think ive pushed it too far. she said you can have two girls to sleep over but i do that just at the weekend and its my 13th and i think i deserve a party! when she said about the sleepover i said i don't want a party then just because i was angry! i said to my friends what can i do for my birthday a little while ago and they went way too far and started to plan it? now that i'm not having one my friends are saying ohh thats stupid why won't your mum let you have one! I really need this party, what can i do to pursuade my mum to let me have one? not anything like do the washing up, more like just talking and pursuading her into it?! thank you :*<3

Suggest a party at your house, if you have a basement thats a good size, or also a livingroom, your bedroom, or a hangout area friends usually like when they come over just have it there. The maximum of 25 people inside with goody bags (cheap cool things from orientaltrading.com are good) + pizzas + cake are all going to add up if you have 25 or more. I had a summer party with 28 people and it costed over 400 but since you dont have to buy a ton of things like i did (i got a blow up jump house) it will be about $130. Also a good suggestion is a rollerskating party, i know it seems expensive but where i live it is $10 a person regularly but around $300 for a 2 hr private party skate unlimited amount of invites and pizza & 10 pitchers of drinks.

At the end of the day, if your mum won't allow you to have a party, buy your own house and have on there. There may be other reasons that you don't know for your mum not not let you have a party. Parties are expensive to put on, she might not be able to afford it. She could be under a lot of stress to supervise such a thing. You are only 13. You have your whole life ahead of you to have parties. I've only ever had one birthday party.

make a deal and tell her that if you do chores for free you get a 13th birthday party.maybe she thinks your to old to have a birthday party. hope my info helped and good luck!
