What do you do at a girls quinceañera party?

Typical party girls ruin parties for me?

  • I'm not looking for a direct answer to a specific question but more of opinions to this topic. Whenever I go to a house party or a college party I always see the same girls, preppy blonde, tan, skinny and in tight cheap dresses. Its girls like these that make me not want to attend these party cause I am nothing like these girls, I am PALE short and curvy, brown hair and I like to dress cute not sexy. So I always end up feeling awkward and uncomfortable. Is that ridiculous ? My friends always say I am being judgemental cause I will let it be known I do not like girls like these, and they aurge that they are not all the same. But party after party they always prove themselves to be very typical. Any opinions on this? Also how can i not let this effect me feeling confident and having a good time?

    You need to figure it out that when you go somewhere, have fun for yourself, and quit looking around comparing yourself to the others! Hate to say it, but your friends are right, you are being judgmental. You sound like you have low self esteem... thats what you need to work on. Who cares what other people wear, do, or say? There are always going to be beautiful people, whorish looking gals, ugly people, and that is, what it is. These are the times for acceptance! If you are accepting of others and all of their faults, your faults won't be so pronounced. Being critical of others is ruining your good times. (This condition only gets worse with age......plus, it makes it easy for prejudices to form!)

I'm tired of seeing those typical girls also. You are being judgemental but that is perfectly normal... If you're human and I think we all are. Just remember you are unique and those other girls are copy cats who dress like that for attention, as they know it works. Confidence can only be found by you and if I was at a party I would probably want to hang around with you.

First and foremost beauty comes from within a person, it doesnt matter how pretty or plain you think people are, its their inner beauty that either helps them maintain relationships with people, or push them away. We are all jealous of what we think we want but dont have, ie skinny, hair colour etc. Stop feeling awkward and enjoy yourself at these parties, Good luck it takes a long time to learn this, so hopefully you will listen to this advice and learn how to deal with everybody. And in recent studies, men have said that they prefer women who are curvy and have some breast size and a beautiful woman from the inside, to be their wives
