I need food ideas for a masquerade party?

• My best friend and i are both celebrating our sixteenth birthday party this march. it will be a "business casual" but we bought dresses for ourselves. the color scheme is dark red (the dress color she wanted) dark purple (the dress color i wanted) and blue (the dress color we both ended up with). it wont be a gigantic party. 12 guests, its a murder mystery, so keep the a certain theme (preferably italian). We want an appetizer (something we can walk around with and eat at the same time- no soup or salad), a dinner and a dessert. keep in mind these are teenagers, and my best friend with whom im sharing the party only eats chicken, no other meat. Please keep in mind: CO-ED TEEN PARTY!!! no alcohol or super fancy foods, and it has to be simple and in-expensive. Thanks!

  Make some spreads,Few jars of roasted peppers,some marinated artichokes,salt pepper,little olive oil some garlic,blend in a food pro.serve with toasted Italian bread,You can do the same with beans.Also a nice Pasta salad with chicken . Goggle Spreads and Pasta Salads.Cheap,but oh so good.
