What are some awesome activities for a 13-year-old party?

Food and activities for my 18th birthday party?

  • Okay, so I know there have been various questions that danced around the topic of 18th birthday parties and whatnot, but mine is a bit more different situation wise. Okay, so let's start this: My 18th birthday is in 8 days, and I wanted to have a big party since it's the big 1-8. My house isn't big enough to have a party, so that's out. I AM on a budget, so there's that to think about. So I asked my sister, and then she asked her boyfriend. He said he knew a DJ and would even pay for it, and that we could have the party in the park and just party it up there. Then just bring my close friends out after it to my sister's house and continue it there. I love the idea of getting a DJ and whatnot, cuz that's just super awesome. I've invited a bunch of people (25+), but I have no idea what to do for food and activities. My sister said that if I ask all of my guests for like $5/$10, then she and I can go buy food earlier in the week and she'd cook everything for us to eat, and she IS an amazing cook, but I just feel awkward/weird asking people to chip in money for that? I'm not sure. And then my friend had an idea of everyone to bring something for the party, but that just might end up being a lot of chips? I don't know...Please help!

    Well i think, that your friends idea is good, for everybody to just bring along a plate of food, its easier for you and your sister and saves you asking your friends for money. Or could just start your party a little bit later, that way most of your friends would of had dinner/eaten before arriving to your party. Karaoke is always fun at a party, and to make it interesting you can make it a themed party or just something simple like wear something pink or blue, etc and it doesn't have to be big, like a wig for eg. Another idea is, if one of your friends want to bring jelly shots instead of a plate of food or yous all chip in. There are heaps of drinking games on google, there always fun :) happy 18th and i hope its a good one.

Wellpp, for my 18th i had a bonfire, beer bong, meatballs, chips and salsa, tons of water, loud music, cookies & alot of alcohol. u only turn 18 once :D if u dont drink, just minus the alcohol. U can always play beer pong, jus without the beer lol

I think asking people for money or to bring stuff is a it awkward myself. Ive never been to a bday party where Ive had to bring stuff. If your worried about expenses just have an appetizer and cake party..just letpeople know so they can eat before they come.. As far as entertainment You could do a glow in the dark karaoke or just glow in the dark theme. I know someone that had a glow in the dark theme. You could have light up gloves, shades or glowsticks. Have your friends come in a shirt they can get dirty and buy glow in he dark spray paint and spray their shirts. Then buy El Wire and use it to write Happy Birthday _____. Buy some light up mouth pieces these will really make things fun. HAPPY BIRTHDAY <3 :) Idk, i know what you mean asking people for money for your party. I wouldnt i would just buy it myself. Or make homemade stuff like you said. Cookies cupcakes,or homade pizza that kinda of thing But i think pop and chips is really nessisary for a party and the only thing you really need to buy. (maybe beer LOL) But that just me. It couldnt hurt to ask for people to bring some, i wouldnt force them though ya'know ?
