How to cook a Roast pig?

Need a 45 pig cleaned and ready for a pig roast and cookin suggestions too in the next week..Thanks?

    It depends upon where you live. Some countries have health laws about who can slaughter an animal for human consumption and where said animal can be slaughtered. If you do get a 45 lb pig, I like mine roasted over a medium low fire on a spit. However, since I'm a little lazy, I get mine done for me in a Chinatown BBQ meat grocery.

go to a local deli market, and get a roasting fire pit with one of those spinny things.

Talk to a butcher, not a deli, about getting the pig cleaned. Roasting a whole pig is a lot of work too. And that's just the cooking part. Butchering it is a different story! Do you already have the pig or you're going to purchase one? Do you know how you want it cooked? On a spit or buried in the ground? Talk to a local caterer about either cooking it for you, or perhaps renting a proper spit to cook it with.

dig a 7'x5' pit, build a huge roaring fire in the pit but build an spit or rottiserie like they do in the cowboy movies. It does work but you need to let the meat be just enough height above the fire as not to burn or cook meat too fast!
