What do you need at the anniversary party?

I need some ideas for a 50th Anniversary party.?

  • I am planning my folks 50th anniversary party and need some ideas for the party. Things that have worked well for others etc. Were thinking about lifesized enlargements of the bride and groom so the guests can get their pictures taken with them as they were then? Also etched champagne glasses that each guest recieves as a memento. I'm hoping you all can help me with lots of other creative ideas. Thanks

    A neat idea to make guests feel included: Prior to the party, have each guest supply you with a picture of themself with either of your parents, from any point throughout the last 50 years. Then, either make a slideshow with the pictures, or use them in lieu of name cards for seat assignments (if it is a sit-down gig).
