Do guinea pigs have a lot of health/medical problems?

I've gotten a few guinea pigs and they have already had upper respiratory problems and ringworm. Do all guinea pigs have lots of medical problems occur in a year?

If your guinea pigs have been having a lot of medical issues then that just shows what an uneducated and an awful guinea pig owner you are. I propose that you hit the nearby library and find a few books on how to take care of your domestic animals before they will become deceased from your careless and mindless behavior towards them. Also, it is possible that you have been paying too much physical attention to them which may cause nerve trauma and possible shortness of life. Guinea pigs must be taken proper care of in order to serve long time at a fair well and happy mammal. Read your books girl. Hope this helps.
