Is My Bunny Pregnant?

  • I found a nest in my bunny's cage. I have four bunnires, one boy and three girls...I think. The three 'girls' live together I know at least one of the girls is a girl because she gave birth to the other two. Her name os Coffee. The other two are called Maltesers and No Name. I think No Name is pregnant because I found a nest and when I felt under her body I felt nipples. Which means that Maltesers is a boy right!? Is No Name really pregnant?

    well she could be if you turn maltesers over you sho feel testicles of you dont who knows what could of happened.that same thing happened to me when you find out take the male out.trust me. if this is her first litter then you should probly keep a close eye on her she might not take care of them.you also want to remove dead ones when they first come out.dont be sad if they dont all make it or if none of them make.they probly had a deffect or sickness and thats why she didmt take care of them.read my profile question you will see what happened to me.im so sorry if they dont make it i feel your pain.GOOD LUCK!!!!!! p.s. you might want to name no name thumper,mopsy,kiarah savannah just some ideas she will probly be having kits shortly. they have them 2 or1 name after they have made o nest.please tell me if you have anymore questions.tell me how it goes.GOOD LUCK!!!!

yep and yep if you dont want them to have tons of babies get them neutered, it may seem cruel but its the lesser of 2 evils, the other evil being bringing unwanted babies into the world

Domesticated female rabbits should always be spayed to prevent possible health problems. Also considering how many rabbits turn up in animal shelters, all rabbit owners should do their part to keep the population of unwanted pets down.

She has to be preggant if you felt nipples and Maltesers is a boy and they live together.

Pregnant rabbits make nests with their own fur they pull out if there is a nest of fur and a fur-less rabbit in your cage chances are you are a bunny grandparent to-be.

Can't you always feel the nipples on a female rabbit? how old are the rabbits? 'bunnies' shouldn't be able to give birth. but she may be. so take her to a vet and get an ultrasound. most veet offices have them. and i think most vets do work with rabbits as well.
