i would get a bunny. a bunny is acually a little bit like a cat or a dog, you can litter train it, if you bunny proof your house you can let your bunny hop around all day, bunnies can learn a lot of tricks, like shake, up, play pianno ect. you can even take a bunny for walks, like a dog. even though the bunny takes a little bit more responsibility than a dog or cat, a bunny is the way to go. hope this helped :)

How bout a bunny ?

Unfortunately, hamsters rabbits and such aren't hypoallergenic. So if you want to get a furry pet, I would have to tell you, your pretty much going to have to go for the cat. If you can't get one because of the responsibility, then you should probably think again. There's machines that churn and distributes water so you cat thinks it's healthier, and you don't have to refill it all the time. As far as litter boxes go, they're a pain but you only have to clean them every so often. You should tell your mom that they're are cats that have less allergens, like Siberians which are really cute or a Javanese which are also quite nice-looking. Or you could get a hairless cat (bleh) Which in your case you probably wouldn't do. Some tips, female light-colored kitten would be the best for you, since those produce the least allergens. There's also a shot for people for Cat Allergies so his allergies go down. Anyway, my mom was VERY allergic to cats, I convinced her to let me get one and now her allergies pretty much disappeared. You should try it!

I would say that a bunny would be a good choice. I know some people who are allergic to hamsters but are fine with bunnies. However, if you guys have dogs then they would never be able to see each other at all because bunnies and alike animals have a "disease" that can kill dogs (etc) just but them getting into their waste. Hope this helps and good luck!
