  • Answer:

What you're giving her is totally fine. I usually give my guinea pig Kaytee formula, but what's the difference? I give mine alfalfa (timothy hay) each time I feed him, and once or twice a day I mix it up and give him (my piggie) carrots, romaine lettuce, red apple, and celery with the strings taken off (they can choke on the strings). You are taking fine care of your guinea pig and I hope you two have a wonderful life together! Good luck!

Holy Whistling, I just read the previous answer. I figured that a reliable pet store or department will sell you a good food mixture that is probably all you need.

That seems good to me. We have a guinea pig and give him pretty much the same thing, except we give him half a carrot in the morning and half in the evening.
