How and what age can you determine the gender of a sugar glider?
-
From the research I have done it seems the males tend to have a bald spot marking on their head...I have a 6 week old sugar glider and it does not have that yet. I know females get their pouch but I can't imagine them having that at this age yet. At what age can you determine the sex of it? I am waiting to name it because I don't know what it is!

Answer:
You can determine their gender right at birth.. Males will have a "pom" (above where the cloaca is -- both male and female gliders have a cloaca). Females will have a small slit on their stomach where the pouch will be -- going up and down, not side to side. At 6 weeks, I hope it is still with its parents, as sugar gliders do not wean until they're between 8 and 12 weeks old.
