When will USPS deliver my package?

Will usps deliver a package to my house if i don't have a mail box?

  • i ordered some tarantulas online and had assumed they would be delivered by fedex or ups. the company ships them by usps though. i don't have a mailbox at my house. will usps deliver the package to my house without having a mailbox? the package probably wouldn't fit in a mail box anyway so wouldn't they have to knock on the door or something? i wouldn't be that worried if it were a box of light bulbs or a george foreman grill but i don't want my spiders to die.

Where do you normally receive your other mail? Without a box at your house, I suspect that you may be using a PO Box for delivery of your other mail. If that is the case, that is where your package will be delivered. Any USPS package will be delivered in the same manner os all your other mail.

they will deliver your package at your front door. please realize it's important to bring your slings inside your house as soon as you get the package. they can't be sitting outside (especially below 40 degrees) for that long. other than that shouldn't be a problem if you ordered a heat pack.

UPS and FedEX will deliver to the door. Call your local post office and ask how they handle a package that is too big for the mail box. You probably NEED to tell them what is in the box and make arrangements.

Yes, they usually don't put the packages in mailboxes, anyways. They will leave it at your front door!
