• I've noticed lately that he seems to be partially blind in one eye. I'll reach down to pet him and he won't notice my hand until I touch him, and then he gets startled. He also is very ditzy and unresponsive at times. Like, I'll hold him and he'll flop backwards or forwards. He's a big, 9-month old sable. I'm worried something is off with him...

  could be a number of issues. His diet may be off. Her may have gotten something in his eye. It may be a disease or genetic. Lots of Ferrets are diabetic, this could explain quite a bit of these symptoms. Genetic issues are also a big problem. The "Farms" that produce the ferrets produce so many at such a fast pace genetic problems occur very often.
