Has any Iranian pet owner moved back to Iran with their Pet?

What kind of pet to have? :(?

  • So lets see.. I'm in love with animals, its just that I can't devote myself to animals.. if that made sense. Anyway.. My first pet was 2 turtles, I had it for 5 years? ( til i was 9 ), got rid of em.. Then I moved on to the mini red lobsters, then a guinea pig, then a rabbit, then 20+ hamsters, then mice, then turantulas, then a bearded dragon, then FISH.. alot of fish.. ( right now I have 2 betta fish ) , but I think I'm still into tropical fish.. ( cichlids, ect ) but I want to see what else is there for me.. more turtles, a dog, then 1 cat , then 4 more cats, then a dog, then another dog... Now I'm left with just 2 bettas. Please don't say I'm a bad pet owner, I already know : ( And I'm not over 70 either. Iam only 17. I'm just experimenting whats a good pet for me. Any suggestions on what other pets I should consider? I was thinking ferrets.. But no... Suggestions please! Happy New Years!

    If you know you are a bad pet owner why would you want to inflict yourself on a poor dog or cat? I say stick with fish. They don't have feelings like a dog or cat would.

Pets are not something to experiment with! In your short 17 years of life, you've gone through countless numbers of animals, just disposing of them when you were finished with that "phase". Ferrets are a lot of work...I don't think they'd be right for you. And what are you going to do in a year when you leave for college? Bring the ferrets with you? I doubt it. Why not try something that doesn't require as much care, and that you can bring to college - a pet rock or stuffed animal.

Any kind of pet, no matter what kind it is deserves to be treated right. Too many people see pets as disposable. They get tired of one and then get another. They don't stop to think about what happened to the prior pet. Since you no longer wanted it, did you find it a forever loving home? You say that you are not a good pet parent and I am sorry but I would have to agree. Pets need time, love and devotion. Imagine yourself in your pets position. Treat all animals the way you would want to be treated yourself. They have feelings too. I am not trying to upset you or make you mad.. but maybe you should think a good long time before bringing a new pet home. Ever think of volunteering at a pet rescue? This might help you. : ) Bird

please, if you love animals don't keep getting them & giving them away.i have seen this far to often & they don't usally end with a happy ending. stick to your fish untill you are willing to change. :(

I would just stick with a fish! Im agreeing with others on this one! You can't just get rid of pets that you don't like there not toys. They're supposed to be taken care of everyday 24/7.

You're scaring me a bit there. But anyway, if you can't devote yourself to one animal, why not consider fostering for a change? It seems as though you wouldn't get attached to a single animal so easily, so fostering would allow you to experiment with different animals, while giving them a temporary home. It sounds as though a feasible suggestion, no? Hope that helps. ;]

Your just like me!!! Anyway, why don't you get a cat and a dog? I have them to, and I can't lve withoyt them! Plus, if your away they play with each other.You'll get so attatched to them.Make sure to have plent or TL&C for both!!!
