Can you tell what products have not been tested on animals.?

In 1991 I created the "Beauty Mark" labeling program for the Humane Society of the United States. it is apparently still in use - I have seen the symbol on the doors of some personal care products chain stores. This is a program that certifies products that are not animal tested. The Mark is a square (formed of words certifying the item or product line) with a sylized rabbit in the center. You can check the HSUS on the Web, or drop a note asking what brands are still using the Beauty Mark certification. There are various independent groups that also report on products that ae not animal tested. The natural foods and products industry - comprised of many different goods, such as Tom's of Maine - is replete with personal care goods that are not animal tested. You will find specialty stores almost everywhere that carry these items. What you might find easiest is to locate one of these stores, and then get information about the newsletters, web sites, and publications that keep track of quality, reliable manufaucturers who do not engage in animal testing. Be careful - despite the concept of "ethical" products, some of the stuff out of this industry is crap, and sometimes even harmful. That's the same as any other area of business, sadly.

Yeah i know exactly what you mean, its sad to see an innocent animal get injected with random substances. But on some bottles and equipment, there is ussually a sign or lablel on the product that says that it has not been tested on animals.

i should say on the product somewere that it is NOT tested on animals i cant stand animal cruelty :(

most insect repellent is not tested on animals lol there is lots of sick shitt in this world that you should choose to ignore cos its part of the economy and way of life. dont watch a video on how hamburgers are made. dont watch a video on animal testing. dont watch a video on many more things cos they will sicken you. you will never want to use/eat it again. live life, stop complaining. (thats my philosophy, not me telling you what to do btw)

i dont know because there are some products that say they have not been tested on animals in uk. that means its been tested on animals in a different country. you can check on labels or email the producer. i wish there were more people like you then maybe the animal testing would stop. its wicked.

Ok i totally agree with you but this will make you feel a little better that they stopped all testing on dogs cats bunnies and other great pets and they mainly only test on rats. But anyways most products will have something on them saying that this product was not tested on animals
