What are the top 10 pets to own?

• I'm moving out soon, and I think it'll be nice to get a few pets for my new place? Any suggestions? It can be from cats to ferrets to snakes etc..........

  well ,if you mean fun or nice to have then... 1. dog (especially if you are active and/or have kids.) (potty training and basic obedience are the only challenges) 2. rats (i know what you thinking, but give it a chance rats are the smartest of the small pets and can be trained to... sit, lie down, come by name and use a litter box for easy cage cleaning. they are like little dogs unlike hamsters, rats need 1 hr. a day of out-of-cage activity. like playing tag, tug of war, or even just running or chewing. also, they live longer if they have other rats to ;live with them, but make sure they already know each other, strange rats can be see as enemy's and there will be fights) 3. cat (can be fun and cute but not too active or play full as they age. and litter can be quite a chore) 4. ferret/bunny/Guinea pig- (ferrets can be mean if not trained asap they also sleep 20 hrs/day, Bunny's and Guinea pigs are shy) 5. hamster (strongly do NOT recommend. they may be cut... but that's when you see them. they sleep 23hrs/day, unable to be trained Beyond the most basic commands, are very anti social, short lifespan, live LESS long if paired with others. also you should ware gloves if you want to pick them up, the squirm and use the bathroom in ur hand)
