Are the asian beetles (orange ladybugs) poisonous to fish?
-
There are some of these beetles in my apartment and I have fish. I am worried if they will make my fish sick because some of them are getting into my tanks. They are leaving a rainbow/oily film on the top of the water. I don't want my fish to be sick from them!

Answer:
hmmmmmmm.... i couldnt really imagine causing any ammonia or nitrite spike, i wonder if your fish have tried eating them??? i dont think its neccessarily a good thing theyre in there, i also dont think it will harm or are poisonous to ur fish, some people feed their oscars spiders and baby mice, so im pretty sure a few lady bugs in the tank will not destroy or kill ur fish, i would just cover the tank the best you can to avoid them getting in,
