How Can I Load Balance Two Wireless Routers?

Is it ok to clean ur tank every two weeks?

  • i have two tanks that have been set up 6 months and i was wondering if it was ok to not clean the tank every week but every 2 i have been keepin an eye on the chemical balance and ph and when i couldnt clean my tank one time the water stayed stable so would this be ok the tanks are fully isstablished and not on there max bio load

  • Answer:

How often you change water is based entirely off your bio-load and filtration ... and the routine is set by testing. If you have well-established tanks with proper bi-load then your tests for ammonia and nitrites should always be 0 .... nitrates and stabilizing pH would be the only reasons to do water changes. Considering that most people consider nitrates 20 as safe (I always encourage 10 or less) ... you would base your water changes on maintaining that.Water changes should also stabilize pH,so if it is not dropping significantly, you would go solely on the nitrate readings. Testing will tell you what you can,and cannot, get away with ... all tanks are different. No one on this site can tell you what is the best routine for YOU. Once you establish the right schedule for your tanks, you would simply set your routine ... testing would be occasional to verify all is going well after that.

By cleaning you should just be gravel vacuuming and changing water, which is fine every two weeks if your parameters are good.

Yup. I change my water every two weeks, and clean the gravel once a month. My fish are completely fine with it.

depends on what kinds of fish but yeah as long as you keep doing what your doing and keeping an eye on PH and ammonia and have your filters clean then yes every 2 weeks shud be totallly fine

BingX14

depends how many fish are in there. the more the fish the dirtier is gets. so you can clean the tank once a month!

If your running a good filter and your water is testing great, then only partial water changes and gravel vacuuming is needed. Remove any excess algae by scrubber if not using any fish that need it to live. Completely tearing down a tank every two weeks means that it is thrown out of balance. if you are talking about partial water changes? Then if tests shwo your tanks if good, every two weeks would be fine. This all depends on you fish load and feeding pratices.

That's a great idea ....if you can you should clean b'coz a healthy environment provides a long life span along with a sound body. well once in a week you should check your filters . but wait if you have suckers!! don't change your water every two week b'coz they r algae eaters and cannot survive without it. so let them clean and wait till your water gets too cloudy ..once in a month is a better option.. but if you don't have then its ok you may change." remember" PH, temperature , should be same every time , this change may ill your fish. but if you cannot do it regularly so at least try to change half o more than half of water. and you can pump out all waste material collected at the bottom of the tank...don't use any detergent or any chemical to clean your aquarium...and if white salt line is created at water side level you can just scrap them of but if not you can clean it by the mixture of pure lemon juice and salt by scrubbing against it .. marks will disappear within minutes. hope you like this by take care.

As long as your water parameters are stable, it should be fine.

baymast13

you can clean it every 2 weeks

If you keep clean filters etc a full water change shouldn't be needed as often.
