Which fishes are good for 20 gallon fish tank?

  • i have seen goldfish, baby shark and all type of fish in wallmart. i want to choose a fish which need lees time for take caring. i love fishes. but i dont want to spend my much more time for fishes. so help me with that. thank you in advance.

    If you don't like to spend a lot of time cleaning, stay away from goldfish. They poop so much and it really makes your tank filthy!!

Well it depends on what kind of fish you want. If you want a community tank, then you can't go wrong with like irridescent sharks or bala sharks. Most community fish are easy to care for. But if you are willing to spend just a couple more bucks then you can't go wrong with African cichlids. They are real hardy fish and easy to care for. But they eat a lot! I have a 50 gallon with them in it and they are beautiful fish. Good luck!

Try livbearer fishes like guppies, mollies, platys etc. You just not need to devote most of ur time to them.

Try to keep the fish you get on the small size when full grown. Cichlids will get big and out grow your tank. Try Mollies, guppies, Platies, swordtails. All fish tanks require care if you are not motivated to do water changes or clean tanks then don't do fish.
