My gold fish has a torn fin and black spots on its body?

What is this? Do I need to worry? Do I need to put the fish in a seperate tank? Treatments? This is the only fish that has this problem and this is my first time owning a goldfish tank so I am not sure what this is and my internet research isnt all that helpful at the moment, so I though it would be best to ask people who own fish,
