What does dreaming about my pet fish mean?

  • Four times in two months I have dreamt about my fish. The first one I can't remember well. The second one, the tank lid would not close and the fish kept jumping out. I kept having to pick them up and put them in again, being unable to join in the conversation my family were having. In the third one, there was a lump in the fish tank lid and the fish, again kept jumping out. I couldn't watch the film me and my family were watching. I had to keep outing the fish back in. I'm the last one, last night, me and my sister had been left in the house alone for a week. I came back home from taking the dogs out for a walk to find she had talking half my fish, 6 fish, and out them in a goldfish bowl on the window sill. She had taking most of the ornaments out and all of the gravel. I yelled at her, something that is always happening in real life, about how that could kill the fish. She said sorry and I put the fish back in the tank. Two of them imediantly died. I put in a medicine I have for fish which, on the instructions, says if their are any unexplained deaths. I put some in and the fish came back to life. The gravel still wasn't in and I remember seeing my three minnows swimming about right at the bottom of the tank. What do these dreams mean? I read somewhere that dreaming about fish means you are pregnant but I am a virgin so that ain't possible. What do you think it means????

    Freudian analysis of dreams is only applicable in certain situations, and this isn't one of those situations. Generally, what you dream about is what you think about a lot. Just let it slide; your fish will be fine, and you have nothing to worry about. Dreams are just dreams.

You are taking your dream way too seriously. We normally dream about something that was on our mind last, so if you're thinking about your fish while trying to get to sleep you may end up likely dreaming about them. It doesn't mean you're pregnant, or you want to swim with your fish blah blah

Dreaming about fish mostly means you've been looking at or thinking about fish. I've had dreams about fish, and I didn't turn out to be pregnant (I'm male, by the way). Did you eat at Red Lobster before you had these dreams?

If you've been thinking about your fish alot recently then that is why you have been dreaming about them. 4 times in 2 months isn't a huge amount. Don't worry.
