Does anyone think a TV show devoted to fish keeping would be a good idea?

I don't think that it would really work. The broadcasters would lose a lot of money if the ratings were low and seeing as only people who kept fish would watch it you would really be limiting your target audience. If you focused the show on pet care in general it would probably sell better as you would have a larger audience to focus on and some people would watch it just for the cute furry animals.

Yeah i would watch it and it would prob knock spots off most of the shitty programs on now,It would be really cool tho if they go to the places the fish are found in the wild and made it into a nature program as well as a fish keeping show coz it could get a bit boring

yeah why not...for those people who r really board or in need of relaxation...fags work for me...they could call it..."fishy tales "or "something fishy going on" or a programme on not how to kill your goldfish....would be beta for me being i cant seem to keep a bloody fish alive.... ask BBC 2 ,they have **** on

it might be if each show went over a different fish and salt tanks and breading of fish it could work

I can't imagine it would take more than 1 season unless you did something on conservation and education about the fish's natural habitat. Maybe a local cable station. Good luck, I would watch it.

I think I would rather watch the fish channel. It's a 24/7 channel of an aquarium. You watch the fish swimming around. No talking. It's supposed to be relaxing and lower blood pressure too. Not sure where that channel is available. It must be a cable one. If you left your tv on, it would give you all the enjoyment of watching fish without any of the responsibility of taking care of them.
