Would this community tank work?

I want a fresh water community fish tank, any suggestions?

  • As of now, I have a ten gallon tank. I don't have any fish in it, my fish died the other day. So, I want to get more fish. This time, I want community fish. I do plan on getting a fifty-five gallon fish tank rather soon. The one I'm getting is rather long. I don't know the exact measurements, but it's about ten times longer than it is wide. Okay, I have a few fish in mind. I know they're all community fish, but I don't know if they go that well together. For one, I want at least two African Dwarf Frogs, I want perhaps some guppies. At least five dwarf gouramis. At least two Boesemani Rainbow. And, perhaps an algae eater. And, a school of tetras. (This is all for the fifty-five gallon) Do those fish work together? Anything else I could add? I'm going to get just a few fish for the ten gallon, since it's already set up. And then get the rest of the fish, and put them all in the fifty-five gallon tank. Along with the fish in the ten gallon. : ] But, I need to know what works first. Therefore, I am here!

  • Answer:

Well im getting my 55 gal in 2 days WOOOOOOOOOOT! and if you are getting a 55gal lon ways its 48" long 12" wide. I plan on putting either a jack dempsey and convicts or growing out koi. I think your tank would look great with all those fish, but the gouramis might nip the guppies fins
