How do you feed a blind oscar?

What all can i feed my oscar?

  • i have a juvenile oscar, about 4 inches long. i fed him flower horn cichlid pellet bcause that was the only cichlid pellet i found. he ate it for a few day and got bored with it. he isnt feeding fully nowadays. what else can i feed him? what could i give him, something diff everyday so that he wont get bored with feeding? nd i want him to eat the pellets too, it brings out the red patches on his body.. plz help me with a diet plan for my beloved oscar..

    DO NOT feed feeder fish to them, they can get hole in the head disease. Frozen blood work, frozen beef heart, earthworms, cichlid flakes. That sort of stuff

I saw your other question. Solve the small tank problem, stop overfeeding, and then he'll start to eat again.

you can do feeder fish, just make sure that they are small enough for him to eat and do not add too many at once because it will pollute your tank. you can also do crickets, which have excellent protein.

You can try small feeder fish for him, I'm sure he would enjoy that. The pet store sells small goldfish for 10 cents a piece, give or take. Drop a few of this in his tank for him and see if he eats them.
