What kind of flys to use second week of august on the Leigh river?

Can i add filtered water to a fish tank?

• i have a 10 gallon fresh water fish tank with river water. i have all of the correct proportions there with the ph and what not (because i don't use tap water i don't have to use any treatments of any kind). i was wondering if i could add filtered water to the tank without harming the fish during the evaporation process and during the cleaning period that i do every other week.

  i dont know what type of water your filtering, i was gonna use distilled water once to try lowering my ph, but when it tested it, it had high nitrates straight from the bottle. so test it but be aware that declorinater also detoxifies heavy metals in waters, plus tap water has extra minerals and things that are actuall good for fish, so do your research before deciding
