  • Answer:

If you can't find an owl, try a round silver mylar balloon or two in strings with a large round black eyeball painted on it filled with heluim and hung on each side. If that does not work, catch it somehow, it shouldn't be too hard, and take it for a 10 mile ride. If it comes back take it for a longer ride.

I would call the bird Narcissus and give it a bit of bread crumbs, but I'm kind of an animal nut. You probably don't want sparrow droppings on your mirror.

get a statue owl. you wont have the problem anymore. owls scare them

It's probably a male sparrow, and he sees his reflection and thinks it's another bird encroaching on his territory.I would cover the mirror for a month, and he should forget about it.Why can't you take it down,at least temporarily? Why do you need a mirror on your veranda, anyway?Just curious.
