How far North will the red breasted grosbeak migrate is North western Ohio unusal?

I have them feeding at my camper in Mendon ohio just 11 miles north of Celina and about 28 miles southwest of Lima Ohio.

They migrate as far north as Canada. However, at this point in time, they should have found their stopping point and will probably stay in your yard. Mine have come to stay and I am in VA.

We get them in north/central wisconsin, so I am assuming that they will cover all of Ohio, which is lower than us. They are pretty rare in n/c WI, but you can see 2-3 a year.

According to my Audobon Society Field Guide to North American Birds, they range from Southern Canada to the central US, and as far SOUTH as northern Georgia. So in Ohio you are actually in the southern half of their range...
