Where should I attach my Repti Therm heater on my Hermit Crabs' tank?
-
I have a 5.5 gallon tank, and a Repti Therm Mini (Says it's for a 1-5 gallon tank) Where should I place it? Should I place it on the back, near the bottom? Or underneath? The instructions said that it doesn't work that well on the bottom if the substrate (sand) is over 1.5 inches. Most sites say hermit crabs need more then 1.5 inches of sand. So, do you think I should place it underneath and keep the sand on that side of the tank a lil lower, or just place it on the back down low? (as the instructions suggest)
