Where can I get a tiger salamander?

Which should i get a tiger salamander or a fire-bellied newt and why?

  I keep both I enjoy keeping both and honestly i wouldnt give up either. I can tho tell you a little more about each species from a keepers point of veiw I keep chinese fire belly newts (cynops orientalis) and eastern tiger salamanders (ambystoma tigrinum) from a care point of view i would say tigers are easier part water changes and keeping the fbn's under 21C (japanese fire bellys are more hardy and are fine up to about 23C but cooler is better) especially in summer can be a bit annoying its also harder to do a full clean out of the fire belly newt tank. tiger salamanders its just a case of spot cleaning every couple of days and changing the substrate every 2 or 3 weeks. you can also bond a bit better with tiger salamanders as you can hand feed them and some will come to the front and look at you if it thinks foods about. the problems with tigers is then burrow and where my fire bellys are always on display and generally quite active but my tigers can stay borrowed sometimes for weeks I normall see mine 4 or 5 days out of 7 so there not too bad but sometimes they just sit in a hide.
