Should I get a complete bmx or build one myself?

I need to get a cage for my red tailed boa. i dont know if i should try to build one or if i should buy one?

  • i dont wana build one but if i have to wer could i get plans i want a cage about 48high 48long 24wide i could change them a little but thats a good idea. i dont build one so wer could i buy a good boa cage. it could be about 500 dollors

    reptiles are not normaly kept in cages as a cage would not hold the heat required for a coldblooded species (with the exception of chilonians - tortiose ect) snakes should be housed in vivariums. to make one you will need wood and glass or just glass. or there are many online shops that will sell and deliver or look in a petshop that sells reptiles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vivarium

Id get a boa phile, or an animal plastics cage (google either one of the names) Im planning on getting a boa phile for my red tail, and my burm is in an animal plastics cage... I really like them...
