How do you get a Clown fish to eat?

How to get my turtle to eat feeder fish?

i have one red eared slider that ive had for about 6 months maybe...give or take a few days. i have no idea how old he really is and he is about a inch and a quarter big.. ive fed him with pellets since i got him i recently had a friend of mine offer me fish and i decided to try and feed them to my turtle... they are feeder fish SO i thought it was appropriate.. anyway i put the fish in the tank a few days ago and he hasn't even thought about trying to eat them..hes actually scared of them..i tried not feeding him for a few days..but i felt bad and fed him pellets which he ate immediately. ive started to feed the fish fish food so they wouldnt die but i didnt want extra members added to the family so i need to get them eaten..is there anyway to give him the idea of eating the fish or is he so set on pellets that there is no hope?

He'll start eating them when he gets a bit older and bigger.
