What should i feed a lizard?

Put the lizard back. It most likely will die. It's never a good idea to give in to 3 year old fits at the expense of a animals well being.

Lizards eat bugs. Try to catch some small ones he could eat. if he gets hungry enough he'll eat anything.

If You Keep It: Well, you're usually supposed to feed reptiles insects no bigger than the space between their eyes, so try feeding it aphids and tiny bugs like that. But a creature that small might not have that much of a chance of survival, especially when you don't know what kind of lizard it is. If You Don't: Let it go, where you found it, if you can. It will probably be happier where it came from. Another option: If possible, "fence in" the area where you found the lizard and watch it for a long time. You might see it eating what it eats in the wild. Try different locations, it might eat plants or find bugs from different plants. Good luck!

check on the internet pet sites...they should let you know how to care for a lizard.......crickets, meal worms, lots of veggies (romaine lettuce, zucchini, cucumbers, peas, etc)..and you need a white incandescent bulb to keep him warm....good luck

If not bugs, try feeding tiny bits of salad. If that fails, go to your local pet shop and ask someone there.

you don't. you release it back to the wild regardless of what your three year old says. You'lll kill that lizard even though I know you don't want to. Even if your heart is in it, in order for that lizard to survive, release it back to the wild.
