Where to find good cheap hard drives and graphics tablets?

My dog is epileptic and is on long term medication but it's a nightmare trying to get his tablets down him

  • i give them to him hiden in a treat and sit watching him for ages i'm almost certain he has eaten it then later inthe day i find the tablet hiden in the corner of his bed! it drives me bonkers! does anyone have any tips on geting his tablets down him or does anyone know if he can have a injection for it instead of tablets as i worry he doesnt always get the correct dose!!

    Hi i have to give my dog tablets every day. I open his mouth and put the tablets at the back of his throat then close his mouth and hold his head in upright positio then rub his throat gently so he swollows also if he does not then i have a small squirty bottle with water and just squirt a small amount in his mouth so he will swollow the water then the tabs. Do as SUNNY has said. That is the best way to do it. You don't want to start injecting you poor little dog as he has a lot to cope with, with him being epileptic. I had a dog which was diabetic and had to inject him twice a day for over 2 years. It had to be done but wasn't very nice. I'd also like to congratulate you on what you are doing for your dog. There are many people out there that would just opt to have the animal put to sleep. Well done you..

Every dog has it's day

I've found the best way to give my dog tablets that he won't readily take is to place the tablet as far down into his mouth as you can, almost down his throat. Then gently hold his muzzle shut and stroke his neck until he swallows the tablet. This has always worked for me.

My dog is on long term meds also, and they're capsules - even worse! We felt that whatever method we came up with had to be quick and easy, because she's going to be on these capsules for the rest of her life, and we didn't want it to be upsetting for her or us. After MUCH trial and error, we've resorted to sausages! We just cut a slice of raw sausage, push the capsule in the middle and feed it to her by hand, followed by another smaller slice - she gulps the one with the capsule in it in one go to get the second one. Works every time. Good luck.

Try crushing the tablet until it is just powder and then mix it in with his food. Make sure it's mixed in well so that he doesn't get a sniff of it. Good luck!

when i have to give my dog tablets, i put the tablet down his throat with my finger and rub his neck, always works for me, good luck, and people say animals are stupid! if anything there too smart!

try a strobe light then you can give the dog pills

Eeasy.put a treat in your pocket or nearby. have the pill in your hand. straddle the dog with your knees and legs. open his mouth by lifting his top jaw up and moving the lower jaw down,aim good and toss or slide the pill to the back of the tongue,quickly close his mouth by gripping his mouth closed and keeping his head up at all times while massaging under his chin and throat,you will feel him swallow,then reward with treat.:)
