Fun question! What type of car would people in the the dog section drive?
-
My turn for a fun Q! Use your Imagination and think of regulars in the dog section and what type of car you would picture them driving? Legit: What type of car do you drive and does it fit your dogs needs? I use to own a toyota celica which was very nice with leather but I sold it partly because of my dogs. I now own a 4-door honda civic which is better for them, but I don't like the car myself. I also own an older toyota 4x4 that we go 4-wheeling in but its being fixed right now. I think a 4-runner would be a good dog car because they could safely rid in the back. Everyone have a very merry Christmas and safe new year!

Answer:
I'm not good with cars, but here's what I imagine... Launi-A big Toyota Tundra or a big truck with leather seats and the works BYB'scarefor$$-A nice, sleek dark red car. I don't know car names, haha. She'd have the pap's sitting nicely in the passenger seat and the gordon's sitting nicely in the back. Emilie-A Jeep (; Greek-A truck. That's all I picture. Chetco-A black Honda Civic Hybrid BethJ- White Honda Oddessey van. PomChi-An old, beat up, rusted truck. Like hillbillies would own. Bells-Some kind of black SUV.. Lauren-A nice minivan. White. Again, I don't know many types of cars. I hope this is the way you wanted people to answer, haha. Legit: A crappy Suzuki Grand Vitara, black with silver trim. I like it though. It's actually my dad's, but I just got my license and it's slowly becoming mine.. (: It fits my dog's needs. My dog is small, so he works with any car, really.. I do wish it had leather seats though. Easier to clean muddy paw prints off of. My dream car would be an Escalade. Or a Subaru Outback. @Launi-LOL wow! Except your a Ford lady not a Toyota! (;

Well I always been a pick up type girl. But after my Lab had his knee surgery the Silverado was not working for him any more and the ramp would not fit. So I traded in my beloved truck for a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Time for the SUV. I would think many of the dog regulars with larger dogs would drive SUVs or the cross overs. I think it also depends on what breed people have. My friend and i often talk about that. She owns an all natural pet store and we watch what everyone drives. Happy Holidays to you and your dogs as well.

I currently own a 2010 Subaru Outback. I bought it purposely for my dog show needs. Since I have dachshunds, their crates fit in the back with no problem and I have my Xpen, soft crate, folding chair, tarps and a few blankets, I also wanted All-Wheel Drive. Doing without that is no longer an option, since the Saturn was pulled otu of the mud 2x's at field trials. I got the CVT 4 cyl, with all the bells and whistles in Sky Blue. I used to own a 1999 Saturn SL2, that surved as my dog car, but that was when I only owned 1 dog. The trunk in that car was amazing and swallowed everything I needed it to hold. I sold it when I bought the Outback. It had close to 200,000 miles on it, was reliable, got good gas mileage and was cheap to insure.

I have a Subaru Forester. It's a perfect dog-hauling car. ;-)
