Why some dogs eat poop?

2 months old puppy, goes to do her business and after that, she smells where she pooped and starts eating it, yuck! I washed her mouth when I catched her doing that..why does she do that!?!?

She doesen't know any better. My dog used to do that all the time, but he never got sick. If you want to know how to keep her from eating her poo um... ask a vet.
