What are the different sections of Philadelphia?

Does anyone else think that the Dog section could be split into sub-sub-sections?

  • Each main section of Y!A (like Pets) is split into sub-sections (like Dogs) but there is room for those sections to be split down one more time into sub-sub-sections. Like this: Pets > Dogs > ??? What sub-sub-sections, if any, would you like to see in the Dog section? I think a Naming section would be good considering many people blatantly can't think of their own. Maybe sections for Puppy-care, Grooming, Feeding, Showing, Training, etc. What do you think?

    Good idea, never happen! The training section will have 3 questions a day and 2 of them will be of the most idiotic quality, so, it would be a waste of time and effort for YA to do it.

Puppy Care: My puppy is peeing on the floor. He is 8 weeks. When will he outgrow this? Grooming: What? I need a groomer for a Shih Tzu?!!! How do I get the tangles out? Why does this dog do this? Feeding: Don't tell me Alpo is NOT a good food! My grandpa has used it for years and his dogs are fine! Showing: I want to know how I can show my Maltipoo. Training: My puppy is aggressive. It bites me. Why is my puppy aggressive? What can I do about this? I smack him. He doesn't listen. Best to leave it like it is. Why? Because ignorant people don't know how to categorize.

The ones you have mentioned would be great as sub-categorys, i think i would spend most of my time in the training section. I would love there to be a section for each breed, like a section for the BC, a section for Spaniels, a section for GSDs etc. But i think that would probably take up A LOT of space and time. Possibly a section just for mutt lovers and a section for purebred lovers, then we wouldn't have to have the constant argument of "why does everyone hate mutts". Interesting Question!

How about a Junior Dog Lover section? Where we could lump all the What Do I Name My Doggie/How to Get Mommy and Daddy to Let Me Have a Doggie/Is My Doggie Cute questions. A breeders forum- it could automatically filter into reputable questions or BYBs Health (where you have multiple choice answers- A. VET-NOW B. Your dog should be OK, keep an eye on him, vet if he's no better C. Your dog will be fine, you worry too much) Training-divided up into Bunny Huggers or trainers into S&M

I think Ava's got the idea, but she is missing a couple: Pets>Dogs> How do I breed my mutt because she wants to be a mother? Pets> Dogs > Why cant my puppy housebreak himself ? Pets > Dogs > My dog keeps biting me, and I give him lots of hugs...why wont he stop? Pets > Dogs > What kind of handbag should I buy to carry my mini teacup pekapoo? Seriously, Im fine with it the way it is.
