What is my cat trying to say?
-
Here is an unusual way my cat and I communicate: My cat will be sleeping on the other side of the room and completely motionless. I will then talk to him very softly and his tail will suddenly move back and forth, but his eyes are closed and he is otherwise motionless. As soon as I stop talking his tail stops moving. We can go on like this for ten minutes with his tail moving only when I talk. Any Idea what he's trying to say?

Answer:
He is listening to you and your voice is soothing to him. He just enjoys your loving voice talking to him... :)

I don't think he's actually saying anything, it's just his body responding to your voice. My cat does it too.

He's saying leave me the heck alone so I can sleep.
