When we leave our cat in boarding kennels all she does is cry for two days on our return which drives us nuts?

As an owner of a feline-only boarding facility, I see this happen frequently. She is actually ok and normal, but you have to bear with the cry. She is used to talking with other cats at your boarding facility and she is still looking for them. That is why she is making so much noise. She has found friends to talk to at the kennel.

Stop leaving her in boarding kennels. Have someone come to your house to care for her so she can be home at least and in familiar surroundings.... or take her with you...... or ask a friend (or pay a sitter_ to keep her at their home, so she at least has freedom and companionship of humans while you are away.

This would be a huge upset to a cat. They are creatures of habits and they notice even minor changes to their surroundings. Chances are she's even worse at the kennel, they just don't notice because there's so many other animals. I'd hire a friend or family to visit you cat and feed your cat at your house when you go away instead of taking it to a kennel.

Cats are temperamental animals. When you bring her home from the kennel she's probably telling you that she didn't appreciate being left there. Be patient with her and give her lots of affection.

She is cussing you out, in her language. I recent had my cat at the vet for 2 days and after he came home, recooperated and was feeling better, he has cussed me out repeatly. Just say, "I know, I'm a bad mommy, ain't I?" They'll get over it!

i think maybe this is a sign that shes lonely an missing company that she had at the kennel.another cat might help x

shes crying because you left her........ she cant get over it.

When you go away, try to find someone to go to your house to feed her and check on her. It might also help if you got another cat. 2 cats usually work out better than one.
