Do you think that cats or animals can read minds?

Yes, cats and other animals can read minds. But since they don't speak English, have a grasp of linear time, or understand even basic things like elevators, it's not very helpful to them. That is why they haven't taken over the world yet.

well ya because i have three cats and I'm only ten but i have three cats it always fells like their reading my mind cuz they just stare at my and it feels strange.

I don't think they read our thoughts in the way you describe, but the bond that develops between pet and owner, particularly because the pet can't verbalize its feelings, is possibly stronger than the bond between two human beings...it's based more on instinctual feeling than intellectual decision (on the animal's part certainly, but how many of you/us have gone into a pet shop, looked at a puppy or kitten...or whatever...and just KNEW that was the one for you)...animals have souls, I know...so why can't they have soulmates too?

Yes I think they tune into you...especially if you have had them for a while. When I was little our dog would go to the window and start wagging his tail even before he could see my Mum walking up the road..he just knew she was coming.
