My cat has a chicken bone stuck in his throat and keeps being sick how can i get rid of it ?

are you dim? take the cat to a vet, clean up the sick and don't give chicken bones to animals. what a stupid question you loser!!

If it has been there for a while and it's still there now, probably it's in too deep or it got stuck in certain angle so the caughing won't do much help, go to the emergency vet. If I have a chicken bone stuck in my throat and it won't come out, I'm not going to wait till the next day, that gotta be hurt a lot. If that's uncomfortable for a human being, it will be uncomfortable for a cat too.

open its mouth and see if you can remove it yourself if not then a vet straight away its not healthy for cat to have a bone stuck in its throat

This can be construed as cruelty! If you had a chicken bone stuck in your throat and kept being sick i'm pretty sure you'd say that you needed to go to the hospital!! Get the poor thing to a vet NOW!!

I hope that by the time you get my response to this question that you will have taken your cat to the vet, if not PLEASE DO IT NOW!! Do not even attempt getting it out yourself you could do a lot of damage!!

chicken bones do not dissolve. Everyone here is right - PLEASE take your kitty to the vet - they will peer down its throat to see if the bone is visible; if not, they will take x-ray. Once they know where the stuck chicken bone s, they will sedate your kitty and remove the bone. Let's hope that all it will take is a pair of twissers...
