Can a female cat go into heat while pregnant?

My male cat is "fixed" we now have a female cat who isn’t fixed Will it make my cat go in heat?

• My male cat is "fixed" Recently my roommate "acquired" a female cat who isn’t we believe that my male cat is spraying again , Has anyone ever heard anything like this before?

• Answer:

  The male cat should not be spraying again. The Female might be. My female cat would mark all over the house right before and right after she went into heat. The only way to stop it is to get the female spayed. Thats the only thing that worked for me. I also have a male cat thats fixed. Hope this helps :)
