How to hook up a VCR to a DVD recorder???!!!?

I need to know how to hook up a VCR to a DVD recorder because I hav some home videos on VHS and need to copy them onto DVDs and please tell me which cords to hook up to the tv also so that I can watch them off the VCR while they record and please tell me in a easy-too-understand way because I'm Not good at stuff like this and one more thing please don't just say for example VCR output because there is a video and audio output because that will confuse me anyways THANKYOU

You plug your A/V cables from the VCR's audio and video OUT plugs into the plugs labeled audio and video IN on the DVD recorder and then plug audio/video OUT from the DVD recorder into your TV to see what you're recording. That should be all there is to it.
