How to setup a projector for virtual DJ?
-
I am setting up a nightclub and trying to figure out how i can get a projector to work with the dj. i have a program virtual dj 5.0 and i can play video in the program, but im having problems trying to project only the video. The manual says that it is possible by using a feature "extended monitor" i am an amateur so im having problems figuring out how to do this. Also i was wondering if there was a limit as to the distance the projector can be from the CPU. Are there ways of extending the cable that comes with the projector. Someone please help me...

Answer:
I personally would run the PC DJ screen separately from the video screen - in other words two computers. If you Google "windows extended monitor" you may find some help pages. You can get VGA extension cables to go up to 120 feet or so no problem: http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat%5Fid=3415&sku=28006
